Gustaf Angelborg is a highly experienced Principal Scientist on the CSO Team at Intrexon Corporation, with a career spanning over two decades in the biotechnology and life sciences fields. At Intrexon, Gustaf has led high-level project planning, technology evaluation, and the development of innovative solutions, including generating cell lines for adenovirus production and spearheading the development of a cost-effective ELISA replacement reagent system. Gustaf also serves on the Board of Directors for the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce in San Diego, focusing on enhancing trade relations between the United States and Sweden. Previous roles include Senior Research Associate at Cyntellect, where Gustaf developed assays for cytometer systems, and research positions at Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center, Halozyme Therapeutics, and Q-Med, contributing to advancements in cancer research and recombinant protein analysis. Gustaf holds a Master of Science degree in Medical Science from Uppsala University.
