Lars Karlsson

Lars Karlsson has extensive work experience in the film industry. Lars started their career at Fenix Vision as a Technical Designer for six months in 2004. After that, they joined Svenska Filminstitutet and held various roles including Technical Head, Project Manager, Acting Head of IT, and Head of Digital Film Restoration and Preservation. Lars led a team of 11 individuals and successfully digitized and restored the analogue film collection. Lars also managed development projects, coordinated technical inventories, and received recognition for the institute's restorations at prestigious film festivals.

Lars Karlsson pursued their higher education from 1998 to 2004 at Linköping University, where they obtained a degree in Civilingenjör Mediateknik.
