Olle Norberg is an accomplished leader in the field of space science and engineering, currently serving as the Director-General at the Swedish Institute of Space Physics since September 2021. Prior to this role, Norberg held the position of Vice Rector at Luleå University of Technology from September 2018 to August 2021. As the Director-General of Rymdstyrelsen from June 2009 to May 2018 and the Head of Esrange Space Center at SSC - Swedish Space Corporation from 2001 to 2009, Norberg significantly contributed to advancing Sweden's space initiatives. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Space Plasma Physics from Umeå University and a Master of Science in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
