Ali Forough has extensive work experience in the tobacco industry. Ali started their career in 2006 at Philip Morris International, where they held various roles such as Sales Representative, Marketing Project Executive, and Manager Consumer Engagement & HoReCa. Ali later became the Marketing Manager for Sweden & Iceland and the Nordic Brand Manager for Marlboro. Ali then moved on to become the Brand Manager for Marlboro in Italy and Manager of Commercial Planning for SE/Nordic. In 2016, Ali joined Swedish Match as the Marketing Director for SE, and later took on roles as KAM Director and currently serves as the Sales Director for SE.

Ali Forough attended Dublin Business School, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Marketing in 2006. Prior to that, they studied at IHM Business School and earned an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in 2004. In 2001 and 2002, Ali attended Stockholm University, focusing on the field of Sociology.
