Allen Bolden

Allen Bolden, PMP has extensive work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Allen is currently the Director, TechOps Product Lead at Sobi - Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB (publ). Prior to this, they served as Sr. Director, Commercial Ops and PMO at Ridgeback Biotherapeutics. Allen also worked as a Director in the BioProcess Technology Group at BDO USA, LLP.

In the past, Allen held various roles at AstraZeneca, including R&D Diagnostic Alliance Manager and Supplier Relationship Manager. Allen was responsible for managing manufacturing results, contract adherence, and governance with contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs). Allen also managed unit cost, OpEX, and capital investments at CMOs.

Allen had a role as Senior Manager Manufacturing at MedImmune, where they were responsible for leading upstream operations and technical transfer activities for large-scale biologics manufacturing. At GlaxoSmithKline, they worked as a Program Manager, leading complex CMO, partnered, and internal programs within the Manufacturing Operations organization.

In the earlier part of their career, Allen worked at Human Genome Sciences in several roles, including Senior Project Manager and Senior Supervisor in Manufacturing Operations. Allen was involved in contract manufacturing, collaboration, and internal commercial program planning and implementation. Allen also played a leadership role in coordinating clinical and commercial manufacturing training across multiple departments and facilities.

Allen started their career as a Research Associate I - Manufacturing at MedImmune. Overall, Allen Bolden, PMP has demonstrated expertise in operations management, project management, and manufacturing within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.

Allen Bolden, PMP obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in the years 1995 to 2001. Allen also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, obtained in 2009.
