Donna Carter

Donna Carter is an experienced laboratory professional currently serving as the Laboratory Director at UW Health SwedishAmerican since January 2023. Previous roles include Operations Leader at FHN - Laboratory and Section Supervisor at CGH Medical Center. With a strong background in microbiology and molecular diagnostics, Donna has held management positions at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago and Northwest Community Hospital, overseeing operations, staffing, and budgets, as well as implementing various technologies to enhance laboratory efficiency. Donna holds an MBA from National Louis University and a B.S. in Biology from DePaul University.
