Julien Denormandie has had a long and varied career in government and finance. In 2004, they began working at the French Ministry of Economy and Finance in the Direction des Relations Économiques Extérieures. In 2008, they moved to the French Embassy in Egypt as a Conseiller Économique. In 2011, they were appointed as the Chef du Bureau de la Turquie, des Balkans, de la CEI et du Moyen-Orient at the Direction Générale du Trésor. In 2012, they returned to the Ministry of Economy and Finance as a Directeur Adjoint de Cabinet and Conseiller. In 2016, they joined En Marche as the Secrétaire Général Adjoint. From 2017 to 2022, they served as the Ministre de l'Agriculture et de l'Alimentation, Ministre Chargé de la Ville et du Logement, and Secrétaire d'Etat Chargé de la Cohésion Sociale for the Gouvernement. Julien is currently the Chief Impact Officer for Sweep.
Julien Denormandie began their education in 2000 at AgroParisTech. Julien then attended Ecole nationale du Génie rural, des Eaux et des Forêts from 2002 to 2003 and Collège des Ingénieurs from 2003 to 2004. No additional certifications are listed.
