Tom Battle has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Tom most recently worked at Sweet Street as the Director of Global Supply Chain. Prior to that, they held various roles at Southern New Hampshire University, Dentsply Sirona, NOVIPAX, AFP advanced food products llc, Zausner Foods Corporation, Simon Lever, Alouette Cheese - USA, APICS, and Frito Lay. Tom'sresponsibilities ranged from teaching as an Adjunct Professor to leading supply chain transformations and directing corporate projects. Tom has also managed teams, budgets, and implemented SAP systems.
Tom Battle has a diverse educational background. In 1983, they enrolled at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy. Tom completed their undergraduate studies in 1987. Following this, in 1996, Tom attended the Florida Institute of Technology, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Logistics Management by the end of 1997.
Continuing their quest for knowledge, Tom attended Villanova University in 2007. During their time there, they acquired a Master Six Sigma certification, focusing on Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Six Sigma. In 2014, they briefly attended Georgetown University and furthered their understanding of Project Management.
Tom Battle has also obtained additional certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. In 2006, they became a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) through APICS. Furthermore, in 2016, they earned the esteemed Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
