Christopher B.

Christopher B. has extensive work experience in the finance and accounting industry. Christopher is currently serving as the Chief Accounting Officer at Swift Current Energy since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the VP Finance and Controller at Catalyze from January 2020 to April 2022. Christopher also served as a Council Member - Renewables at GLG from October 2019 to April 2022. Christopher has held various roles at Stealth Mode, Greenbacker Capital, and New Jersey Resources, where they gained experience in financial accounting, policy documentation, financial modeling, audit, compliance, and M&A. Christopher started their career at AVANGRID as a Lead Analyst and eventually became the Manager of Energy & Derivative Accounting.

Christopher B. holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from Bentley University. Christopher has also completed various courses in Business Data Science and Machine Learning from MITx Courses. In addition to their formal education, Christopher has obtained multiple certifications in various areas such as negotiation foundations, consulting foundations, taxes and accounting for music, and programming foundations. Christopher has also acquired certifications related to accounting and finance, including accounting for investments and corporate controller in today's environment. Furthermore, Christopher has completed certifications in data visualization and mapping tools, as well as courses on fast close techniques and the role of the CFO in today's environment.
