Scott McGrath

Scott McGrath is an experienced professional in the energy and offshore operations sectors, currently serving as Sr. Site Manager at Swift Current Energy overseeing a 775 MW DC Solar field in Illinois. Previously, Scott held roles including Project Manager at Entrion for the Valaris DS-9 reactivation project, Rig Manager at Valaris plc managing ultra-Deepwater drillship operations, and Managing Director at SP McGrath Consulting LLC providing engineering and project management services. As Vice President of Operations at Seadrill, Scott led a diverse fleet of 16 offshore drilling rigs while managing substantial budgets and operations. Scott’s extensive experience also includes various management roles at Transocean, where responsibilities spanned subsea performance and international operations. Scott holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Science in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
