John Spencer

John Spencer is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the building materials industry. Currently serving as Vice President at Swift Supply since August 2021, John previously held the role of General Manager at BlueLinx Corporation for a brief tenure in early 2021. From 2001 to March 2021, John was District Manager at Huttig Building Products, overseeing multiple locations, including Jackson, MS, Nashville, TN, and Cape Girardeau, MO. Additional management roles include General Manager at McCray Lumber from 1996 to 2001, Marketing Manager at Idaho Timber, and National Accounts Manager at Plum Creek. John began a successful career as an Outside Sales Representative at Georgia-Pacific LLC in 1984.
