Brenda Jacobs

Brenda Jacobs has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies. Brenda started their career as a Sales Engineer at Telindus in 1996 and then moved on to work as a Network Engineer at PROXIMUS from 1998 to 2000. In 2000, they joined SWIFT as a Customer Engineer and stayed with the company until 2005. During their time at SWIFT, Brenda held various roles such as Service Manager, Commercial Manager, and Consultant Team Lead. Brenda rejoined SWIFT in 2010 as a Commercial Manager and later transitioned to become a Consultant Team Lead until 2018. From 2018 to 2021, Brenda worked as a Product Manager at SWIFT, and they currently hold the position of Product Manager and Chapter Lead.

Brenda Jacobs completed their education at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, where they obtained a Masters in Electrotechnical Engineering with a focus on Applied Physics from 1990 to 1995. Brenda then pursued a Masters in Industrial Engineering at KU Leuven from 1995 to 1996. Prior to their university education, Brenda completed high school at Koninklijk Atheneum Pitzemburg from 1988 to 1990. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications in Agile Foundations, Agile Software Development, Comparing Agile versus Waterfall Project Management, and Cultivating a Growth Mindset from LinkedIn in the year 2020.
