Lakeisha Patterson Oam

Lakeisha Patterson OAM is a distinguished professional athlete and ambassador with extensive experience in both swimming and various charitable initiatives. Currently serving as a professional athlete with Swimming Australia since April 2014 and as a gratitude officer for Paralympics Australia since November 2020, Lakeisha actively engages with donors to express appreciation for their contributions. Additional roles include being a brand ambassador for Funkita Swimwear and True Protein, and serving as an ambassador for PainPod™ BioTechnology, Epilepsy Queensland Inc., and Soroptimist International of the South West Pacific. Lakeisha has also contributed as an intern at Cox Architecture and as a QAS 4 Schools athlete ambassador, inspiring youth towards healthier lifestyles. Academically, Lakeisha is pursuing a Bachelor of Communication in Digital Media at The University of Queensland, having previously studied architecture at the same institution.
