San (Hyungsan) Kim has an extensive work experience. San (Hyungsan) started their career in 2005 as a Sergeant in the Republic of Korea Army. San (Hyungsan) then joined the Korea Development Bank in 2011 as an Associate. In 2014, they were an MBA Summer Intern at Glennmont Partners. In 2015, they worked at Nissan Motor Corporation as an M&A and Strategic Alliance Development. In 2016, they held the role of Strategy & Partnership for Mobility Services at the Renault-Nissan Alliance. In 2017, they were a Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG). In 2018, they were a Senior Associate at SoftBank Ventures Asia. Currently, they are the Founder & CEO of Swing, where they are operating 80k scooters across South Korea & Japan, with a HQ in Seoul and 60 warehouses at different locations.
San Kim obtained their Bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance from Seoul National University in 2010. San (Hyungsan) then completed an exchange program at ESSEC Business School in the same year. In 2014, they earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from INSEAD. In 2019, they obtained the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT N1) from JEES (Japan Educational Exchanges and Services). In 2015, they became a CFA Charter holder from the CFA Institute. San (Hyungsan) also holds a Delf B1 (Diplôme d'études en langue française) from the Centre international d'études pédagogiques (CIEP). San Kim initially attended Daewon Foreign Language High School in 2001, but dropped out.
