William Furtado

William Furtado's work experience includes roles as a Machine Learning Engineer at SwingVision starting from June 2023. Prior to that, they worked at UC Berkeley Division of Computing, Data Science, and Society, where they held various positions including Course Director, Co-Instructor, Lead Undergraduate Student Instructor, Associate Program Facilitator, Tutor, and Academic Intern from January 2020 to May 2023. William also worked as a Web Developer at BARE Magazine from January 2022 to May 2023. Additionally, they held multiple roles at Opportunity Through Data, including Co-President, Director of Technology and Curriculum, Deputy Director of Technology and Curriculum, and Curriculum Developer from June 2020 to May 2023. William also worked as an IoT Software Engineer Intern and Software Engineer Intern at Cambridge Mobile Telematics from May 2021 to August 2022. Prior to that, they were a Data Science Researcher at Goodly Labs from September 2020 to May 2021, and a Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth from June 2018 to September 2018.

William Furtado attended Sturgis Charter Public School from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained an International Baccalaureate Bilingual Diploma. William then went on to attend the University of California, Berkeley from 2019 to 2023, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science.
