Charles de Zoete

Charles de Zoete has a strong background in finance and has held various leadership roles throughout their career. Charles currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Swire Shipping, a position they have held since October 2021. Prior to this, they were the Chief Financial Officer at United States Cold Storage, Inc. from June 2017 to September 2021. Before that, they worked as the Financial Controller at Swire Pacific Offshore from June 2013 to June 2017, and as the Finance Manager at Steamships Limited from June 2011 to June 2013. Charles also gained experience as a Corporate Finance Manager at Swire Pacific from September 2010 to May 2011.

Charles de Zoete has a diverse education history. In 1994, they enrolled at The University of Edinburgh and completed their degree there in 1998. Following that, they pursued an MBA at INSEAD, starting in 2006 and finishing in 2007. In 2014, they attended INSEAD again, this time completing the Advanced Management Program (AMP). Most recently, Charles has been studying at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, working towards a degree in ECFO (exact start date is unknown, but the education is expected to end in 2022). Alongside their formal education, Charles has obtained certifications as a Chartered Accountant (FCA) from ICAEW and as a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) from the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT).
