Saravanan Annamalai

Saravanan Annamalai has extensive work experience in data management and analysis. Saravanan is currently serving as the Head of Data Governance at Swire Shipping since 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at Sanofi as a Data Architect from 2016 to 2020, where they successfully directed and implemented Core BI Enterprise Data warehouse and Data Marts solutions. Saravanan also played a key role in project management, planning, and business requirements gathering. Before Sanofi, Saravanan worked as a Senior Consultant at NTT DATA Business Solutions in 2014, as an Assistant Manager at Rabobank in 2014, and as a Solutions Architect at Eli Lilly and Company from 2009 to 2014. Saravanan started their career as a BI Consultant at GLOBALFOUNDRIES in 2008 and as a Data Warehouse Consultant at DBS Bank in 2007.

Saravanan Annamalai earned a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree in Computer Software Engineering from Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy from 2000 to 2003. Saravanan also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Jawahar Science College from 1997 to 2000. In addition to their academic qualifications, Saravanan Annamalai has obtained certifications such as AWS Certified Database - Specialty and AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Saravanan also holds a certification as a Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc., which they obtained in October 2020.
