Jayla Williams has a diverse range of work experience in human resources and administrative roles. Jayla recently worked as a Human Resources Specialist at Swisher, where they managed interview scheduling, facilitated onboarding processes, and utilized job boards and social media to identify top talent for open positions. Prior to that, they served as a Human Resources Administrator at BTG, Inc., optimizing onboarding workflows, compiling and distributing employment documentation, and formatting resumes to enhance client profiles. Jayla also worked as a Time and Expense Associate at TEKsystems, ensuring accurate decoding of wage and overtime data and processing employee time-off requests. Earlier in their career, Jayla worked as an Administrative Assistant at the University of Central Florida's Career Services department, where they attended workshops to improve collaboration, communicated important information to students and alumni, and updated the career database with job listings.
Jayla Williams completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BSBA) degree in Integrated Business at the University of Central Florida from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from North Florida Community College from 2016 to 2018.
In addition to their formal education, Jayla has also pursued additional certifications. In February 2020, they obtained the Certification Prep: Professional in Human Resources (PHR)® from LinkedIn. Jayla also completed courses in Human Resources: Understanding HR Systems Features and Benefits and Learning Excel 2016 in the same month. In September 2019, they completed the PowerPoint Essential Training (Office 365) course.
