Albert Glensk

Albert Glensk is a seasoned System Engineer at Swiss Data Science Center since March 2022, previously serving as a Data Scientist at EPFL from August 2018 to July 2020, where regression algorithms for time-series data led to an award-winning publication. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral position at Max-Planck-Institut für Eisenforschung GmbH from March 2010 to August 2018, where molecular dynamics code and parallel software were developed, resulting in two publications. Albert also held roles as a PhD student at the same institution, where an SVN repository for Thermodynamic techniques was implemented, and as a Young Researcher at Fraunhofer Institute and LMU, focusing on ray tracing simulations. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science and a Diploma in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics, along with additional studies in Physics and a background in Tax Law/Taxation.
