Sabrina Grassi

Sabrina Grassi has a diverse and extensive work experience. Sabrina is currently the President of SwissFoundations, a position they have held since June 2023. Prior to this role, they were an Executive Board Member and co-Vice-President at SwissFoundations from October 2020 to June 2023.

Before joining SwissFoundations, Sabrina worked at the Swiss Philanthropy Foundation, where they held multiple positions. Sabrina started as an Administration Manager in October 2015 and served until March 2017. Sabrina then became the Director of Operations from April 2017 to December 2019. Later, they were promoted to the position of Director General in January 2020, overseeing all operations of the foundation.

Sabrina's career also includes their role as a Senior Account Manager at IHS Maritime & Trade from August 2014 to September 2015. In this position, they focused on key account management, marketing, and had expertise in maritime and trade information products and services.

Sabrina began their professional journey as an Intern in the Planning department at the Ministry of Tourism of Ecuador from June 2006 to October 2006.

Prior to their current roles, Sabrina held the position of Account Manager at Global Trade Information Services, Inc. (GTI) from September 2007 to July 2014.

With this range of experiences, Sabrina Grassi has developed expertise in various fields including philanthropy, account management, and operations management.

Sabrina Grassi pursued their education in a structured and sequential manner. Sabrina began their academic journey by attending Gymnase de Burier from 2000 to 2003, where they earned a Maturité/Baccalauréat degree. Following this, they enrolled at the Graduate Institute of International Studies (IHEID) in Geneva, from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in International Relations. To further enhance their skills and knowledge, they then pursued a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Commodity Trading at the University of Geneva, HEC, from 2013 to 2014. This diverse educational background highlights their commitment to continuous learning and their readiness to explore different subjects.
