Franziska Wehrle has extensive work experience in various roles within the marketing and communications field. Franziska currently serves as the Head of Communications at Swiss Olympic, a position they have held since November 2017. Prior to this, they worked at in flagranti communication as the Marketing and Events Manager from March 2005 to February 2017.
Before joining in flagranti communication, Franziska held the role of Head of Marketing at TUI Suisse Ltd from May 2000 to August 2004. In this position, they were responsible for marketing the brands TUI, Robinson, Flex Travel, and Imholz. Franziska also oversaw the production of all travel catalogs for TUI Suisse.
Franziska's earlier work experience includes serving as the Marketing Manager at Coop extra Reisen from March 1999 to March 2000, and as a Product Manager at CIS Club Intersport/Kuoni from April 1995 to December 1998.
In addition, they have worked as a Sales and Marketing Assistant at Swiss National Tourist Office from April 1994 to September 1997, and as a Travel Specialist at Ernst Marti Reisen from March 1987 to March 1994, where they completed their training as a Commercial Employee with a diploma in Travel and Tourism.
Franziska Wehrle has a diverse education history. In 1987 to 1990, they attended Kaufmännische Berufschule Lyss, where they obtained their degree as a Kaufmännische Angestellte with a Fachausweis (Reisebüroschule) des Reisebüroverbandes, specializing in the travel agency field. In 1994 to 1995, they pursued proficiency in English at Proficiency. Franziska further expanded their education in marketing and completed the eidg. dipl. Marketingplanerin program at SAWI Biel from 1995 to 1996. Moving forward, in 2013, they attended the HWZ University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration Zurich for a certificate in Social Media Management, specifically in the field of social media. Additionally, they completed a Digital Marketing Lehrgang at iab (Interactive Advertising Bureau) for the same year. Most recently, in the year 2022 to 2023, they enrolled in the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons to pursue a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Digital Communication Excellence.
