Mohamed Wann

Mohamed Wann has extensive experience in finance and investment, particularly in the insurance and reinsurance sectors. Currently serving at Swiss Re since September 2021, Mohamed focuses on reinsurance transactions in the Life & Health sectors, working collaboratively with various teams globally. In addition to this role, Mohamed holds the position of Director, overseeing direct equity investments in high-growth composite insurance companies in Africa. As a board member of Leadway Pensure and Leadway Asset Management, Mohamed contributes to the governance and strategic direction of these organizations. Previous experience includes significant roles at Alterra Capital Partners, IsoMetrix Software, SafetySA, CMC Networks, The Carlyle Group, and Goldman Sachs, where Mohamed specialized in private equity investments and investment banking. Mohamed earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from Baruch College.
