Michael Bergmann

Michael Bergmann serves as a member of the Verwaltungsrat at Swiss Solar City AG since May 2022, having transitioned to retirement in January 2022 after a distinguished career in banking. Prior to retirement, Michael held various key positions at Basler Kantonalbank from March 2006 to December 2021, including Relationship Manager for Key Clients and Team Leader for Corporate Clients, overseeing large corporates and multinationals. Earlier career milestones include leadership roles at UBS from July 1998 to February 2006, where Michael managed global banking products and credit risk for multinational clients, as well as advisory roles at Schweizerischer Bankverein. Michael is educated from the University of Freiburg with a degree in economics and political science, and participated in an International Banking Seminar in New York.
