Andres Venzin

Vice President Group Accounting, Controlling & Treasury at Swiss Steel Group

Andres Venzin, CFA has a diverse range of work experience in finance and accounting. Andres began their career as a Business Risk Specialist intern at UBS in 2013. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as a Senior Consultant in Corporate Recovery & Insolvency at PwC in Ireland and also as a Senior Consultant in Business Restructuring Services/Corporate Finance at PwC in Switzerland.

In 2016, they joined Swiss Steel Group as a Manager in Finance Projects and later became a Senior Manager in Corporate Business Development. Andres then served as the Director of Corporate Business Development before transitioning to the role of CFO for Swiss Steel Germany from 2021 to 2022. After that, they became the CFO of the Business Unit Swiss Steel International before taking on the role of Vice President of Group Accounting & Controlling. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Group Accounting, Controlling & Treasury at Swiss Steel Group.

Andres Venzin, CFA, holds a BSc in Business Administration from ZHAW School of Management and Law, which they obtained between 2007 and 2010. Andres then pursued an M.A. HSG in Accounting and Finance at the University of St.Gallen from 2011 to 2013. Currently, Andres is enrolled in the Mobilizing People Leadership Programme at IMD, which they are expected to complete in 2022. Additionally, they are a Chartered Financial Analyst, certified by the CFA Institute.
