Léa Wertheimer has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Léa started their career in 1996 as a Flight Attendant with Swissair. Following that, they worked as a Sekundarlehrerin Phil. I at Sekundarschule Halden, Seuzach from 2001 to 2006. Léa then joined Zürcher Oberländer Medien AG as a Blattmacherin/Dienstchefin/Redaktorin, where they worked until 2011. Léa moved to Neue Luzerner Zeitung and worked as a Redaktorin Inland until 2013. Léa then worked as a Mediensprecherin at Staatssekretariat für Migration SEM from 2013 to 2016. In 2017, Léa joined Die Schweizerische Post as Leiterin Media Relations, where they worked until 2023. Currently, they work as Head of Corporate Communications at Swiss International Air Lines. Throughout their career, they have also been involved in public speaking and moderation in the areas of sports, politics, the army, and security.
Léa Wertheimer completed their Education History as follows: From 2014 to 2015, they attended the Management-, Informations- und Kommunikationsausbildung MIKA and earned a CAS Krisenkommunikation degree in Krisenkommunikation. From 1996 to 2001, they attended the University of Zurich and obtained a Sekundarlehrerin phil. I degree in Sekundarlehrerin phil. I. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Manager für Krisenkommunikation from Deutsche Presseakademie (depak) in 2019.
