João Nuno Marinho

João Nuno Marinho has over 20 years of work experience in various roles within the engineering and logistics industry. João Nuno started their career at EFACEC, where they progressed to become a Commercial Manager in charge of Material Handling Systems. João Nuno then worked at KIND as a Sales Director before moving to Cachapuz Bilanciai Group as a Sales Director, where they managed the sales force and restructured the department. João Nuno later served as a General Manager at RES - Livraria, Editora & Cultura, where they reorganized logistics and implemented the publishing of e-books. João Nuno then joined Dexion as a Solutions Development professional before joining Vanderlande.

At Vanderlande, João held several positions, including Sales Consultant, Senior Sales Consultant, APAC Management Team Member, Senior Group Leader Sales Engineering, and Australian Management Team Member. In these roles, they led a team of Sales Consultants and Sales Engineers, coordinated Sales Engineering resources in the APAC region, and advised and supported the company's executives. João Nuno also had a key role in developing and designing solutions for clients such as Woolworths, Amazon, Hilton Foods, and more.

João's most recent position is as the Head of Design and Engineering at Swisslog, starting in 2023.

João Nuno Marinho received their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Machine Design from Universidade do Porto in 1999. João Nuno then pursued further education and graduated from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto in 1999 with a College Graduate degree in Engineering. Later, in 2003, they completed their Master's in Logistics from Porto Business School.
