Jose Cardenas

Jose Cardenas has a strong background in software development and engineering. Jose is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at SWIVEL since April 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Senior Applications Developer at SWBC for nearly 10 years starting from August 2012. Jose also worked as a Senior Software Developer at RIMSS, Inc. from November 2009 to August 2012. Jose has experience as a Senior Web Developer at Alamo Iron Works, where they created and maintained software applications and systems. Jose also worked as a Senior Web Application Developer at Kinetic Concepts, where they focused on e-commerce website development. Jose began their career at Farm Bureau Bank as a Software Development Supervisor, managing teams and developing software applications for core banking systems.

Jose Cardenas attended the Universidad Autonoma de Tamaulipas from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Software Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Jose has also obtained additional certifications. In January 2009, they became a certified Private Aircraft Pilot by the Federal Aviation Administration. Most recently, in December 2021, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
