Daniel Johnson-Kim has extensive work experience in the media industry. Daniel began their career in 2006 as a News Reporter for the Abilene Reporter-News. After graduating from college, they worked as a duPont Awards Fellow for Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism in 2009. In 2010, they were hired as a Graphic Designer for the Central Park Conservancy. In 2011, they moved to The Daily as a Senior Visual Designer. Daniel then worked at the New York Daily News from 2012 to 2016, serving in various roles such as Director of Content, Head of Production, and Night Editor. In 2019, they joined 72Point US as Head of Media Liaison. In 2021, they began working at SWNS Media Group as Head of Publisher Engagement and at talker news as Editor.
Daniel Johnson-Kim received a Master's of Science in Journalism: Digital Media from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism in 2010. Daniel obtained a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Abilene Christian University in 2009, after attending from 2005-2009. In 2007, they participated in a Summer Program in Political Journalism at Georgetown University's Institute on Political Journalism.
