Jacob Makuvire

Jacob Makuvire has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Jacob is currently the Chief Executive Officer & Founder of SWYE360 Learning since 2017. Prior to this, they served as a Board of Directors member at LEADERSHIP PREP SCHOOL starting in 2011.

From 2016 to 2020, Jacob worked as the Vice President of Partnerships at Code To The Future. Jacob was responsible for managing partnerships during this time.

Before that, they held multiple roles at Penda Learning from 2013 to 2016. Jacob started as the Vice President of Sales in 2013 and later became the Chief Executive Officer in 2014.

Jacob also worked as the Regional Vice President of Sales at Teacher Created Materials from 2011 to 2013, where they handled sales in the region.

Their experience includes serving as Taskforce Board Member (Design & Writing) at LEADERSHIP PREP SCHOOL from 2009 to 2011.

Prior to that, Jacob held the position of Director of Sales at ExploreLearning from 2005 to 2010.

Jacob also served as the CEO of Versatile Technologies from 2004 to 2005.

Jacob started their career as a Peripherals Sales Rep at Daisytek Intl in 2000, where they worked until 2003.

In addition, they have experience managing a team of Direct Sales Reps and strategic initiatives as a Regional Sales Manager at Voyager Expanded Learning from 2005 to 2008.

Throughout their career, Jacob Makuvire has demonstrated strong leadership skills and has made significant contributions to the organizations they have worked for.

Jacob Makuvire has a diverse education history. In 2020 to 2021, they attended The Wharton School where they completed the Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program, focusing on Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies. Prior to that, from 1998 to 2000, Jacob pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Technology Management at DeVry University. Before their time at DeVry, they attended Dallas College from 1996 to 1998 and obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Business Computer Information Systems. Additionally, in 2016, Jacob obtained a certification from the ASU GSV Summit, gaining further knowledge and skills in the field.
