Stephen Hoopes has over 20 years of experience in the retail, e-commerce, and technology industries. Stephen began their career in 1999 as a Consultant at Arthur Andersen LLP. In 2000, they joined Encirq Corporation, where they were an Account Manager and learned how to do due diligence side by side with their CFO for series B financing. In 2002, they joined Gap Inc./Gap Inc. Direct as an Associate Marketing Manager and Online/Global Merchandise Planner. After that, they worked at Safeway as a Marketing Manager from 2004 to 2006. From 2006 to 2015, they worked at Amazon as a Manager to Senior Manager in Strategy & Operations. In 2015, they joined Curbside as the Director of Sales and Marketing, where they built a team to lead the business to consumer (B2C) marketing for mobile customers. In 2017, they joined Swyft Inc. as the Senior Vice President and later became the VP Retail In-Store Solutions. In this role, they were the Account Manager for CVS and Proactiv contactless, unattended, automated retail channel and lead the business operations for Swyft's new AI Vision Food Cabinets. Additionally, they built an e-commerce and BOPIS locker program to help retailers provide delightful omni-channel customer experiences.
Stephen Hoopes obtained their MBA from the University of San Francisco's Masagung Graduate School of Management, Entrepreneurship, Marketing in 2004. Stephen also holds a BS from Brigham Young University's Marriott School of Business Administration, Finance, which they obtained in 1999. In 2021, Hoopes obtained an Amateur License from ARRL, the national association for Amateur Radio, with a Technician Class Ham Radio License.
