Arvind Krishnan has held various positions in the technology industry since 1996. Arvind began their career at Bowater Inc as a Senior Programmer Analyst in 1996. In 1999, they joined Microsoft Corporation as a Senior Program Manager Lead, where they were responsible for Windows Live initiatives for Emerging Markets with special focus on India. Arvind then moved to Microsoft India in 2004 as a Sr Lead Program Manager. In 2006, they co-founded OrderMonger.com, an online consumer services portal. Arvind then moved to Yahoo! in 2008 as the Director of Product Management. In 2011, they joined Microsoft again as a Principal Group Program Manager. Finally, in 2012, they became the CEO of Swym Corporation.
Arvind Krishnan completed their Bachelor of Technology degree at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras in 1995. Arvind then went on to pursue a MS degree in Civil Engineering and Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they completed in 1996.
