Melinda Wong

Melinda Wong, RPh, is a seasoned professional in clinical informatics with over 30 years of experience. Currently serving as a Senior Clinical Informaticist and Lead at Syapse since September 2021, Melinda develops and maintains knowledge bases for real-world clinical data while evaluating extensive data sets and creating clinical data models using standardized terminologies. Previously, as a Senior Biomedical Informatician at Semedy from November 2017 to May 2021, Melinda contributed to content management solutions and participated in the software development lifecycle. Melinda also played a key role as a Knowledge Engineer in Clinical Decision Support at Mass General Brigham from September 2013 to 2017, overseeing medication knowledge bases and managing the clinical decision support lifecycle. Early career experience includes a long tenure as Pharmacy Manager and Pharmacist at Walgreens, focusing on quality assurance and regulatory compliance. Melinda holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Rhode Island.
