Khairudin Affendi Mohamad

Khairudin Affendi Mohamad has a comprehensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Khairudin Affendi began their career at ISETAN OF JAPAN SDN. BHD. as an Executive, General Administration, where they provided support in various administrative tasks. Khairudin Affendi then joined TIME dotCom Berhad as an Executive, HR & Administration, where they managed human resource services and learning and development for the company.

Following this, Khairudin worked at Takaful Nasional Sdn Berhad as a Senior Executive, where they were involved in talent management and organizational design. Khairudin Affendi also contributed to the completion of the HR Harmonization Project for the merger of Maybank Insurance Group, MNI Berhad, and Takaful Nasional Sdn Berhad.

Khairudin Affendi later joined Uni.Asia Life Assurance Sdn Bhd as an Assistant Manager, Human Resources, where they oversaw various HR functions such as compensation and benefits administration, recruitment and staffing, and performance management.

Khairudin then moved to Etiqa Insurance and Takaful as the Head of Talent Management, where their responsibilities included talent and succession management, as well as organization design and management.

At Bursa Malaysia, they served as the Head of Group Succession Management, where they focused on talent and succession management, senior and strategic hiring, and recruitment processes.

Khairudin Affendi then joined Prudential BSN Takaful Berhad, holding multiple roles including Head of Human Resources, Head of Microtakaful & CSR, Assistant Director, Human Resources, and Head of HR Planning and Development. In these positions, they collaborated with the executive committee to align HR strategies with the company's goals and contributed to talent management, recruitment, engagement, and retention efforts.

After that, Khairudin joined MNRB Group as the Head of Group Human Capital. Khairudin Affendi reported directly to the President & Group Chief Executive Officer and was responsible for various people functions, including people development, talent management, succession planning, and organizational development.

Most recently, Khairudin has joined Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Berhad as the Head of Human Resources, where they lead the HR department's initiatives and strategies.

Throughout their career, Khairudin has demonstrated a strong background in human resources and talent management, with experience in organization design, recruitment, performance management, and learning and development.

Khairudin Affendi Mohamad's education history begins in 1988 when they attended Sekolah Muzaffar Syah Melaka, where they completed their secondary education. From 1993 to 1994, they pursued South Australian Matriculation at PPP/ITM. In 1995, they enrolled at The University of Western Australia and graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Economics, specializing in Economics & General Management.

Khairudin furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Human Resources Development from Universiti Putra Malaysia between 2005 and 2007. In 2008, they completed a Certificate in Strategic HR Transformation and Organization Development from Penn State University.

In addition to their formal education, Khairudin obtained various certifications. In April 2004, they became an Associate Member (AMIHRM) of the Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management. In June 2004, they received the Thomas International Management Systems Certification from Thomas International Malaysia. In April 2009, they obtained the Hogan Assessment Systems Certification and, in June 2009, the Lominger's LEADERSHIP ARCHITECT® Suite Certificate, both from Optimal Consulting Group Pte Ltd. In November 2015, Khairudin achieved the Saville Consulting International Accreditation - Wave from Saville Consulting Asia Pacific. Additionally, they acquired the Assessment Centre's Assessor Skills Training Certification in April 2011 from A&DC and P-PEARL Solutions Consulting Sdn Bhd. Khairudin Affendi'slater certifications include the Design Thinking Executive Programme from Genovasi Malaysia, which they completed in November 2016, and the Korn Ferry Assessment of Leadership Potential (KFALP) from Korn Ferry, obtained in August 2019.
