Msc Justin Chong Kin Sheng Prince2

Justin Chong Kin Sheng has over 10 years of work experience in project management roles. Justin is currently working as an Information Technology Project Manager at Takaful Malaysia, starting in June 2023.

Prior to their current role, Justin worked at AIA as a Project Manager from October 2021 to June 2023.

From March 2018 to January 2021, Justin was a Project Manager at BT, where they managed large-scale complex WAN/LAN networking, Data Centre, Video Conferencing, and Firewall projects. Justin also improved new product implementation processes and communication flow, resulting in completed projects within scope. Justin played a key role in reducing the overall L2C delivery process by 2 weeks through internal team alignment on project management governance and process mapping.

Before BT, Justin worked as a Project Manager at Singtel from September 2016 to October 2017. Justin managed and coordinated WAN & LAN Global projects for clients in the FSI, Banking, Government, and Manufacturing industries. Justin successfully completed high visibility government event projects within aggressive deadlines and budgets.

Justin also served as a Regional Project Manager at Huawei Technologies from October 2015 to September 2016. Justin was promoted to this role after successfully delivering critical projects within 3 months of joining the organization. Justin led a team of project managers and project coordinators to manage Maxis projects portfolio.

Prior to Huawei Technologies, Justin worked as a Project Manager at Singtel from January 2015 to July 2015. Justin managed WAN & LAN projects globally and led an on-site team for a 1-day Data Centre movement project.

Justin started their career at Digi Telecommunications in April 2013, where they worked as a Fiber Detailed Planning Engineer. Justin was responsible for designing fiber facilities and evaluating feasibility and cost estimation. Justin also participated in budget requests and approved technical proposals.

Before Digi Telecommunications, Justin worked at Maxis as an Engineer/Project Coordinator from December 2010 to November 2012. Justin coordinated on-site implementation for fiber infrastructure projects, integrated project tracking systems, and promoted to Project Coordinator due to successfully leading a large-scale Fiber-To-The-Home project.

Justin holds an MSc degree and professional certifications in PRINCE2 and CSM.

Justin Chong Kin Sheng has a strong education background in the field of engineering. Justin obtained a Master of Science in Electronic Communication and Computer Engineering from the University of Nottingham in 2010. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Degree (Honours) in Electronic and Communication Engineering at the same institution from 2007 to 2009. Before their undergraduate studies, Justin obtained a Diploma in Electronic and Communication Engineering from Kolej Damansara Utama College, where they studied from 2005 to 2007.

In addition to their academic achievements, Justin has also attained several certifications. Justin obtained the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance in June 2022. In February 2021, they acquired the Agile Development Practices certification from LinkedIn. Furthermore, they obtained the Prince2 Foundation and Prince2 Practitioner certifications from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, in December 2016. These certifications reflect Justin's commitment to professional development and their expertise in project management methodologies.
