Bill Rainey

Bill Rainey serves as the General Counsel at Sycomp since October 2019. Previously, Bill Rainey was Senior Vice President, Corporate Development, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at Intertrust Technologies Corporation from 1999 to October 2019, where responsibilities included leading global legal and corporate development activities, managing G&A functions, and overseeing M&A efforts. Bill Rainey held various legal and executive roles in companies such as whiteCryption, Seacert Corporation, KIORA INC, and SyncTV, focusing on legal affairs, corporate governance, and investment activities. Bill Rainey began their legal career as Deputy Public Defender at the Santa Clara County Office of the Public Defender, representing indigent clients in criminal trials. Bill Rainey holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce/Finance from Santa Clara University and a Doctor of Law from the University of the Pacific - McGeorge School of Law.
