Tony Tran

Tony Tran has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Tony is currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Sydecar. Prior to this, Tony was the CTO of Mythic Markets from 2019 until 2021. Tony also co-founded and served as the CTO of Beenest from 2017 to 2019. Tony has worked as a Software Engineer at Uber from 2016 to 2017 and as a Software Development Consultant as an independent contractor from 2014 to 2016. Tony has also held positions as a Data Engineer at Bizo (acquired by LinkedIn) from 2010 to 2013 and as a Research Assistant at UC Irvine in 2008. Additionally, Tony has gained research and tutoring experience during their time at UCSD from 2005 to 2007. Furthermore, they are the founder and co-organizer of the San Francisco Bay Area Machine Learning meetup group since 2010.

Tony Tran earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from UC San Diego from 2003 to 2007. Tony later pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from UC Irvine, completing it from 2007 to 2009.
