Danni Burgess

Danielle Burgess currently serves as the Investment Assurance Manager at Sydney Water, a position held since November 2023. Prior to this role, Danielle accumulated extensive experience at NSW Treasury from August 2015 to November 2023, where positions included Associate Director for Regulated Assets (Water), Water, Energy & Climate Policy, and Infrastructure Strategy Unit, as well as Executive Manager for Policy and Budget, and Principal and Senior Policy Analyst for Financial Management & Accounting Policy. Earlier career experiences include an internship at Noetic in 2014 and various roles at Sydney Water between 2010 and 2013, covering areas such as procurement, eco-efficiency, project refinancing, internal audit, and shared services. Danielle holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Infrastructure from Cornell University, is a CPA from CPA Australia, and earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Management Accounting and Finance from the University of Newcastle.
