Duran Hamer

Duran Hamer has had an extensive work experience history. They started as a Director at Williamson Fox Consulting Kft. in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Syft Analytics as a Strategic Partnerships and Growth Channels specialist starting in 2022. In 2015, Duran became an Entrepreneur and Investor at Concatenate Capital. From 2016 to 2021, they were a Co-Founder at Kopano.ai, where they focused on improving insurance delivery in emerging markets through mobile-first solutions and AI capabilities. Before that, Duran worked at True North Partners LLP from 2013 to 2015, and again from 2010 to 2012. In 2012, they also held the position of Executive Apprentice at Discovery Limited.

Duran Hamer completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science from the University of the Witwatersrand from 2006 to 2008. Duran then pursued further education and obtained a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Advanced Mathematics of Finance (with distinction) from the same university in 2009.
