Nicholas Demarais

Nicholas Demarais is an accomplished professional in the field of chemistry, currently serving as the Head of Research & Innovation at Syft Technologies since July 2021, after previously holding the position of Research and Development Scientist. Prior to this, Nicholas worked as a Research Fellow at The University of Auckland from September 2014 to June 2021 and completed a Ph.D. focused on Gas-Phase Ion Chemistry in Interstellar, Circumstellar, and Planetary Environments at the University of Colorado Boulder from August 2009 to August 2014. Nicholas began their career in quality control at Coloplast in 2009, measuring active ingredients in skin care products. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Minnesota State University, Mankato, obtained in 2009.
