Katie Headland

Katie Headland currently serves as the Business Development Director for Discovery Services at Sygnature Discovery since February 2021, having previously held the role of Business Development Manager for Drug Discovery Services. Prior to joining Sygnature Discovery, Katie amassed extensive experience at RenaSci Ltd from November 2006 to March 2021, where roles included Senior Study Director, leading preclinical projects in fibrosis and liver disease, and Study Director, focusing on specialist assay development. Earlier positions include research roles at MRC Dunn Human Nutrition Unit and Knoll Pharma, both concentrating on mitochondrial uncoupling, as well as a medical laboratory assistant position at Doncaster Royal Infirmary. Katie earned a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science from the University of Nottingham and De Montfort University.
