James Fairhurst

James Fairhurst is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in PHP development and software engineering. Currently serving as Lead Developer at Sykes Holiday Cottages since April 2023, James previously held the position of Senior Consultant at Appnovation from May 2022 to March 2023. Prior roles include Senior/Lead PHP Developer at DivideBuy, where expertise in transitioning from monolith to microservices was utilized, along with leadership responsibilities for development teams. James also co-directed DOUBLE ACE DESIGN LTD, specializing in PHP/MySQL projects for over a decade, and contributed significantly to large-scale web applications at Athernet.
