Matthew Whitehead

Matthew Whitehead is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in hedge fund management. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer, Partner, and Director at Sylebra Capital since January 2016, Matthew oversees a firm known for its fundamentally driven investment strategy focused on technology, media, and telecom sectors. Prior to this role, Matthew was the Head of Investor Relations at LIM Advisors from October 2009 to January 2016, contributing to one of the longest running Asian multi-strategy hedge fund firms. Matthew's career also includes positions as Vice President at Morgan Stanley Investment Management and Hedge Fund Analyst at ABN Amro Asset Management. Matthew holds a BA(Hons) in Business/Finance from the University of Plymouth, where studies were completed between 1996 and 2000, and attended The Judd School.
