Sherzad Rahmatian has a diverse work experience in marketing and leadership roles. Sherzad is currently serving as the Managing Director at SYLVAIN since February 2020. Previously, they worked at Uber for several years, where they held positions such as Director of Marketing a.i. - Middle East + Africa, Head of Rider Marketing Strategy - Europe, Middle East + Africa, and Senior Marketing Strategist. In these roles, they developed marketing strategies, conducted consumer research, and established social media fundamentals. Before Uber, Sherzad worked at Intuit as a Senior Marketing Manager and Marketing Manager, leading cross-functional teams in brand marketing and developing social/content strategies for the QuickBooks brand. Sherzad also had a Leadership Development Program role at Intuit. Additionally, they gained experience as a Marketing Manager at Yelp.com and as a PR/Editorial Manager at Blue Lifestyle and The Tasting Panel Magazine, where they edited feedback and corresponded with industry professionals.
Sherzad Rahmatian has studied Psychology at UCLA. They also participated in an exchange program in Language, History, and Economics at Universitat Pompeu Fabra. In 2017 to 2019, Sherzad attended Harvard Business School Executive Education, focusing on Strategy and Leadership.
