Nicolas Holzapfel

Nicolas Holzapfel is an experienced design professional specializing in user experience (UX) and product design. Currently serving as the Director of Product Design at Sylvera since April 2024, Nicolas previously held significant roles at SigTech, where responsibilities included Director and Head of UX, and at Improbable as UX Lead and Product Manager, focusing on coherent UX across the SpatialOS product suite. Nicolas also contributed as UX Director at Monitise Create, leading a team of UX architects, and developed mobile app user flows and designs for various industries. Earlier career highlights include roles as a usability consultant and designer for multiple organizations, including Digital Distribution Networks and NSPCC, along with founding Yoomoot. Academic credentials include an MA in Interactive Media and an FdA in Digital Media Production from the University of the Arts London, supplemented by a BA in Politics & Sociology from the University of York.
