Denis Pitance is an experienced engineer specializing in testing and development within the energy and aeronautics sectors. Currently serving as an Ingénieur d'essai et manager d'équipe at Symbio since November 2020, Denis leads a team focused on the testing and optimization of fuel cell systems. Previously, as a Test Engineer at XSun from August 2018 to November 2020, Denis was responsible for the design and validation of performance models for UAV propulsion systems. Denis also contributed to the development of offshore wind turbine technology as a Test Engineer at NENUPHAR WIND from February 2014 to July 2018, where a 600 kW vertical onshore prototype was operated. Early career experiences include an internship at Rolls-Royce, optimizing jet engine fuel spray nozzles, and a role at the National Research Council Canada, where Denis developed a model deformation measurement method for wind tunnel applications. Denis holds a Master's degree in Energy and Fluid Mechanics from École Polytechnique and an additional Master's degree in Aeronautics and Structures from ISAE-SUPAERO.
