Sebastien Cartal

Sebastien Cartal currently serves as the Fuel Cell Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Symbio since February 2020, following a role as Fuel Cell Stack Manufacturing Manager at Faurecia from September 2019 to February 2020. Prior to this, Sebastien held the position of Global Chief Engineer at FAURECIA EMISSIONS CONTROL TECHNOLOGIES TECHNICAL CENTER INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, where responsibilities included building and training an engineering department for worldwide exhaust systems. Sebastien's extensive experience at FAURECIA SYSTEMES D'ECHAPPEMENT spanned nearly seven years, during which time roles included Product and Process Chief Engineer focused on JLR exhaust systems, Chief Process Engineer for manufacturing, and Tooling Manager overseeing process simulation and tooling. Earlier roles include Launch Engineer at FAURECIA EMISSIONS CONTROL TECHNOLOGIES cz and Product Engineer at MAHLE BEHR FRANCE HAMBACH. Sebastien began a career in engineering as a Designer at FAURECIA SYSTEMES D'ECHAPPEMENT and a CAE Engineer at Alstom. Educationally, Sebastien holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Grenoble INP - Ense3, completed in 2002.
