Eric Hyland

Director, HR Business Partner at Symbotic

Eric Hyland has a diverse work experience in various HR roles. Eric is currently working at Symbotic as the Director of HR Business Partner. Prior to this, they worked at Takeda as a Senior HR Business Partner in R&D. Before Takeda, they were at Avis Budget Group, where they served as an Organizational Development Partner for the Northeast Area & Zipcar, and later as a Regional HR Business Partner for the same area. Eric also has a background in HR at Schneider Electric, where they held roles such as Senior Manager of Global HR Business Partner, Global HR Business Partner for Lines of Business, and Global HR Business Partner for Corporate Groups. Eric started their career as a Human Resources Intern in the IT Business' NAM HR organization. Throughout their career, Eric has demonstrated proficiency in driving talent campaigns, leading change efforts, and providing strategic and tactical HR support.

Eric Hyland is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Analytics at the Isenberg School of Management, UMass Amherst. Eric is expected to complete this program in 2024.

Prior to pursuing their MBA, Eric Hyland attended Bryant University from 2007 to 2011. Eric earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Business Administration and a concentration in Management.

Additionally, Eric Hyland obtained a certification as an LVI Assessor (Leadership Versatility Index - 360°) from Kaiser Leadership Solutions in October 2015.
