Madle Sirel

Application And Product Support Manager at Symcel

Madle Sirel is a Field Application Scientist at Symcel. Prior to their current position, Madle was an intern on the Application team at Symcel and a PHD student at Karolinska Institutet. Her thesis was titled "Exploration of factors that influence Plasmodium falciparum virulence and fitness". Madle has also worked as a project student at Uppsala University, Department of Medical Biochemistry and Microbiology, where their project was titled "Effects of internal deletions on the activity of hydroxymethylpteridine pyrophosphokinase - dihydropteroate synthase from Plasmodium falciparum".

Madle Sirel has a PhD in Parasitology from the Karolinska Institutet, a Master's Degree in Medical Research from Uppsala University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Gene Technology from TalTech - Tallinn University of Technology. Madle also has a certification in Good Clinical Practice from Karolinska Institutet.

Madle Sirel reports to Ganna Oliynyk, Field Application Manager. They are on a team with and Katrin Beilharz - Application Scientist.
