Jay Orum

Jay Orum has extensive experience in the field of Information Technology. Jay currently holds the position of Senior VP, Information Technology and Chief Operations Officer at Symetra, where Jay leads various IT teams providing solutions for data management, data analytics, business operations, and employee experience. Prior to Symetra, Jay worked at Safeco as an IT Director, overseeing a department with a $12 million budget and multiple IT employees delivering results in strategic business intelligence, data management, finance reporting, and compliance reporting. Jay holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Seattle Pacific University.
