Brenda Lam has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Brenda is currently working as a Sustainable Design Project Coordinator at SMMA since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Engineering Technician at Vidaris, Inc. from September 2016 to November 2021.
Before joining Vidaris, Inc., Brenda worked as a Staff Engineer at ESS Group, Inc. from July 2015 to August 2016. Brenda also gained valuable experience during their time at Syracuse University. Brenda served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant from September 2014 to May 2015, undertaking roles such as Pathfinder and Office of First Year Transfer Programs and Learning Communities.
Additionally, Brenda worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Syracuse University, contributing to the "Save the Rain" initiative. Brenda also served as a Literacy Corps member from September 2011 to May 2012.

Brenda Lam obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from Syracuse University, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. In addition to their degree, Brenda has also earned certifications as a Fitwel Ambassador from the Fitwel Certification System in February 2022, and as a LEED AP (Building Design + Construction) from Green Business Certification, Inc. in July 2018.
